Based on your conversation with that dealer, I would do two things.

1. Find another dealer; and
2. Call the Kioti corporate office and let them know what this dealer said.

Please understand that this dealer is a liar. They may not make a lot of money on warranty work, but they do make money on their repair shop. No dealer could survive only on the profit they make from selling tractors. Their big profit centers are their parts counter and repair shop.

Totally agree. I would not do bidness with this character. I would go with a different brand than buy from him. The shop makes more than the sales if this place is any good...

Hold on everyone. Don't get your shorts in a twist. I don't think the dealer meant he wouldn't work on it, he most likely meant if it has any warranty issues, he would not put it in the front of the line, which is fair
if it wasn't purchased there. A lot of dealers do that, if it was bought somewhere else, it doesn't get priority.

I didn't think you were asking for a first in line pass.

copy from other post) "

The kicker was that he told me that if I were to get my used machine (purchased from someone else) serviced at his shop, they would be in no hurry to get the work done (as it would not be priority or completed by order received). "

Sure sounds like he is more than telling that he will work on all others before this one if its not purchased from him. I agree with the others and would tell him I wont do business with him and why right to his face open and loudly right in front of other customers. No one expects to be moved to the front of the line but to be told straight out we wouldn't even work it in order of received machines for "service" (note he didn't say warranty work or repair ) they choose their words carefully for a reason. Secondly any dealer who has the audacity to talk to a potential customer so boldly will surely have even worse things about them and I sure wouldn't want to be the one to find out what they are.

I have been around a long time and heard the speech about if you buy from someone else a few times and know many who have heard it and experienced the poor service from the dealer even when the scare tactic worked. In most cases the dealer who told the customer that, was actually the worst to deal with and would leave even their best customer hanging if they thought they could save .50 cents somehow. Walk away and don't look back driving a thousand miles and paying a thousand more would better serve you than dealing with them in the long run.
