Opinions on NH 1725

I am looking at a NH 1725. It is a 98 model 2wd with 234 hrs on it. Any opinions on this model tractor? Is it a good reliable tractor or a piece a junk? Any known problems? I hear it is the same as a TC29. I guess parts are still available? Thanks for any info.

This sounds identical to the tractor i just traded in for a TC33D,even down to the number of hours.I'm from Hot Springs,AR. The 1725 i had never gave me any trouble,but, i did "baby" it quite a bit.Only problem i ever had was the fuel stop cable broke and had to be replaced.It was a very simple thing to do.Yes,it is the same tractor as the TC29.Only reason i traded was because i was new to tractors and didn't realize for what i needed to do i really needed 4wd and a FEL. Sounds like you got a great deal for 6250.Hope you enjoy!

This tractor looks like it was well taken care of. No physical damage to the outside (except maybe one or two small scratches.) Runs great. I have put about 10 hrs on it with no trouble. I doubt it is the same tractor thought, because I live in Clover, SC. I bought it from a tractor dealership in York, SC. So far, I love it!
