Snow opinions re: snow removal equipment

/ opinions re: snow removal equipment #21
I have a 955 with a 59" front blower and loaded turf tires, this works wonderfully for my paved 450' drive with two moderate hills. I make three passes and it takes about 15-20 minutes depending on snowfall amount and trim work, we had a big dumper that put 2' down and it still wasn't a problem. If the wind is really blowing I put on my full face snowmobile helmet to keep from getting a face full. I've borrowed my neighbors rear mount and did not like it, besides the sore neck I kept hitting things when the front end would swing.

Could you elaborate on this a bit? Why does the front end swing with a rear blower?

Thanks,
Bob

Rear mount = backing up to clear snow. The front end swings when you turn th tractor around things. It is very easy to forget about the front end as you are turned around watching the blower.
