1*don't plan on mowing much grass with one.
2*First, the machine is pathetically underpowered.
3*Second, it should maneuver like a miniature tractor that it is, but it can't turn tight at all.
4*And if you have a nice lawn you're gonna tear it up trying to turn around trees, well at least 4-5 feet away from a tree if yu can get that close.
5*And if you think a tiller is gonna work...
6*have a John Deere AWS garden tractor till up the area first for you or rent a troy built tiller and let the tractor watch you do it.
7* And what do you think you will push with that blade? Piles of vermuculite, chunks of styrofoam?
8* No offence meant, but
9*why would you want one, let alone two of these?
10*They're cute, and have a lot of knobs and levers, and have a rough running diesel under the hood...
11* I'm trying out a BX23 tomorrow to hopefully show him up.

1*I think the BX1500 will do as good or better than the CC GT2554 2 wheel drive garden tractor with manual steering and manual deck lift it's replacing.
2*The BX1500s 15 HP is almost twice as much HP as the 40 year old Bolens garden tractor with 8.25 HP. So I don't think it will have any problem taking over the old Bolens task.
3*I never expected my 2 old Bolens, CC GT2554 or BX23 2 wheel steer tractors to steer like an AWS therefore I don't expect the BX1500s to steer like one either.
4*I don't have that problem with MY BX 23 so don't see why the BX1500 would be any different.
5* The BX1500 will be doing the same tilling I have been doing with the Bolens garden tractor.
Are you trying to tell me that the BX1500 won't do what I've been doing for 40 years with a 750 pound light weight 2 wheel drive tractor that only has 8.25 horse power?
6*I'ts my understanding that you can't put a tiller on the JD AWS.
7*Every thing and more than I've been pushing for over 40 years with the little old Bolens garden tractors.
8*no comment.
9* Because they are more than enough to handle the task I have in mind for them. Then too $15600 is just about half what 2 new JD x700 garden tractors with the same attachments would cost me.
10*If that's a problem for you, you should have tested the current version of the BX1500 which is now called a bx1850.
It has 3 cylinders instead of 2 and more HP than the bx1500.
11* I'd take a BX23 BX24 Massy Ferguson 2310 JD 2210 or JD 2305 Sub-Compact over any of the X500 or X700 garden tractors any day.

Now are you beginning to see why your results are so far out of line with the norm?

Say Andy M the Kubota Dealer here in Marietta has a special sale price of $6945 for a new BX1850 for just the tractor.
Sounds like a good deal if you're interested.
