don't want to hijack but am also considering these two tractors in both the red and yellow versions. I want to run a 7 foot rear finish through flat lawn. Will the 33 handle it?

Yes. It will handle it. You may have to gear down for high or thick grass, but it'll run it.

I have a 1533 (06) with 400 some odd hours on it. I use it for EVERYTHING and have not found anything it wont do. I run a 6' finish mower on the back and it doesnt even flinch. I have had only one problem with the tractor (if you want to call it that) and that is a little croaking noise in the hydro pump. I dont get any shudders, leaks, or other things that others have described in the earlier models. Took it to the dealer and they worked for a week and couldnt find out what the noise was, and since it doesnt affect the performance, I chose just to see what happens. That was a year and a half ago and with daily use, I havent noticed any changes in it.

I chose MF over the others because of the size of the tractor and the fact that it has all metal construction for the hood, etc... unlike the New Hollands. I'm not sure about Kubota's when it comes to this.

As far as Kubota's go, I used to have one, and it was a fine machine. The B7610 that I had was a little light duty for what I needed. If I had it to do again, I'd probably get the 1540 for the turbo power.
