Re: Optima Battery in TC45D Boomer (Good Price)
The battery never discharged enough to not start the tractor and was still fine when I took it to the dealer. There have been threads on the board about overcharging and fumes or boil over. Mine mat go 2 to 3 weeks w/o starting but no longer. Even in the winter I crank it up and run it around some to keep the fluids circulating around the seals. My only problem was corrosion after 245 hours and almost 2 years. I had a TC40D for about a year before this one and it did the same thing. I traded it because of the transmission recall a few years back where the hydro would kick out of low gear on an incline. Overall these are great tractors. I would more than likely buy another one if necessary.
