It doesn't do a great job since there is a lack of warm air flow across it. Between icing up and fogging, it's a bit of a pain. I have a front mount blower so it's not a huge issue, but a rear mount in a strong wind would be frustrating. In my case, I've wondered about getting a generic DIY rear window defroster kit. Clear View Aftermarket Defrosters and Defoggers The other option would be to install a fan to help push some air across the back window. If you do find a way to install a wiper, you may need to look at some additional means of keeping the glass clear. Jason
