ORANGE or GREEN???

The B-2710 will feel more responsive as it is closer to the ideal weight to horsepower ratio of farm tractors. Currently they feel anything over 120lbs per hp is a negative and hinders drivetrain life engine performance as well as fuel economy. That is for farmers doing tillage work so just imagine what happens when you don't want to till up the lawn! The Kubota's have been starting in our yard when dealers of other makes wouldn't even attempt to start there tractors so that is a plus for your winter operation.

Badapple, since Perry White suggested you consider the 4310 I'll jump in and ask you to consider the Kubota Grand L3130. OH LOOK! Here is a Kubota Web Page that compares the JD 4210 to the Kubota L3130! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I tried the free chair thing about a dozen times, using different email addresses. I never got any email. I gues I won't be sitting on anything but my JD tractor /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Welcome to TBN, we always need more members who consider green for their first tractor. Got a question, why would you want a 73 inch bucket on a 420 loader? My 4210/420 loader has the 61 inch bucket and I think it's the largest the 420 loader can safely lift without extensive rear ballasting. If you want to buy the 73 inch bucket so you can move a lot of material I suggest you get the 4310/430 combo instead. Just my 2 cents worth.

I agree on getting the 430 loader with the 61" bucket. I have a 4310/420 combo and wish I had the 430, but my wife bought it for me for my birthday and the dealer had the 420 on the machine (and no 430s in stock). He told her the additional $500 for the 430 wasn't worth it. She told me "take it or leave it", so here I am with my 420. Still wish I had the 430, but happy to have a tractor.
