Got to do some mowing with the m7040 and new Rhino 10' rotary cutter this weekend! Man, what a blast. Took a little while to level up the mower deck, since it hasn't been used yet. I took off the front-end loader to mow. That was incredibly easy! It only took a few minutes. I was worried that I would never have the nerve, or patience, to take the FEL off. But it couldn't have been easier. Now, I just hope I can reattach it!!

Wouldn't you want the FEL for front ballast? That mower has to weigh a ton.

Looking good. Our grass is still brown.:D

Did you mark your hoses for reattachment?:D

It looks like the mower is riding on the rear wheels when in use.

The FEL kinda gets in the way. It does give better ballast. But it makes trimming in the tight fence corners difficult. It also makes visualization much, much better without it. The mower is a pull-type mower, not a 3ph lift type. It does make the front-end light. I would like to find a way to get some Front-end weights to use in such situations when the loader is off.

Don't have to. I have the hydraulic multi-coupler. All you do is move one lever and all the hoses are released in one block. To reconnect them you just slide that block back into place and lock it with the lever.

Nice outfit! Both machines count on that! We haven't turned green yet as the snow banks are finally down enough we can see the plow damage and the spring work needed to get into the yards! Good Luck!
