Ordered a couple HF tools

One thing I forgot to mention, pick up some jam nuts for the set screws. Those set screws really like to back out. The jam nuts will help stop this. Seems as I had to buy longer set screws as well.

That sounds like good advise to take before I even try it. Thanks. I should have it this week some time. Got a hundred fifty dollar veneer blade today that looks like they dropped it from the highest pallet. My impatient customer is gonna be even crankier now..

I wasn't aware you could bend 'on the flat' like this:

There's not much in the way of instructions on using the bender, but that utube channel has some good examples.

Leave the far left die in place, pull the pin and remove the die next to the 2-inch die. Set the fork on the floor and smack it with a BFH right about where your arrow is on the piece of paper. Be sure to leave the 2-inch die where it is.

That's the plan. I was trying to figure how to hold it on the anvil, but you're right, the floor's the place for that one.

So I got the fork/handle nice and straightened out, now I have to cut one of the welds on the ring and weld it back down flat where it binds. Seems like they could'a just welded it on straight when they made it, but what do I know.
