They go to great lengths to tell you to measure carefully, and they provide instructions on just how they want you to measure, and then build the bar as if you were an idiot and can't follow simple insructions? To me that is an unacceptable business practice.

They tell you they will build it to fit, and they do otherwise.

I agree....if you tell them 65 inches and it don't fit...then you should have to pay to get it fixed. But they should make it what you tell them. In Snowridges case, he should have the option of returning it because it wasn't what he ordered. Although shimming was probably much less hassle than the return.

Well, I reckon that's different... So you should measure, then add 1/4in so they can take it off. As long as everyone knows what everyone else is doing:p

It's slotted and intended to be flipped up out of the way. I will have to see how that works out.

As far as unbolting...I was thinking of using pins similiar to the ones on the ROPS to make it an easy on/off attachment. More than likely it will go on and never come off.

I was happy with the price, $273.00 shipped. I was expecting to spend close to $400.

Make sure you drill the holes at the front of the slot so just loosen the bolts and pull forward and flip it up out of the way.

Naw. I am not like the TBN member who sent his back because one of the teeth was on a little crooked, and when he got it back, he took it to the body shop to have it professionaly painted shiny automotive black.
