Ordered my Mini Cooper!

Did you get auto trans.? I think that car has a CVT, am I right?? CVT's have had a bad rap in the past, but I think the mini has been out long enough that if it had problems they would have already surfaced.

No way! I can't imagine any reason to order a sports car with anything short of a manual tranny...unless you have to commute thru big city rush hour traffic. Got the five speed, and it arrived last Weds. The engine is assembled in Brazil. The car itself is manufactured in Oxford UK, though the sticker lists 20% made in Germany. Not sure what 20% that is... Pete
