Ordered new Cab 5225

Decided to bite the bullet and oredered a 5225 with cab yesterday. It will have 3 mid and 3 rear scv's. I'll either trade my 4700 in on it or sell it before it comes in.

After a lot of thought, a couple of yellow jacket nest, living in a pretty secluded area and with my wife passed away, I figured I needed all of the protection I can get.

Should be in around the middle of August!

Congratulations!!! One of these days, I'll own a cab tractor. For now, if things go as planned, I'll have a brand new John Deere 5325 this weekend. I couldn't afford the cab just yet.

Afford?? Don't know if I can afford it but I'm getting one!
Actually, I tried to get a cab put on my 4700 as it only has 490hrs on it but.....

I'm looking forward to not fighting bugs, bees, heat, cold and so on.

Did you get the ele-hydr hitch links?

Larger R1 Tires
Bucket Level Indicator
Hood Guard

Everything is an option with John Deere. I've always wanted a Green and Yellow Tractor but I tried the off brand route first. Now, I'm biting the bullet and getting what I want.

$31,150 for the tractor with the listed options. I think it's a pretty good deal.

Congratulations! Someday I would like a 3000 Series (or whatever number they will be by then!) cab tractor, the wife even likes the cab idea!

Ridgeman, glad to here of another 5225 cab owner-congrats. I have had mine since December and love it. I have no complaints with my 5225 at all. Have fun and enjoy! Mike

Congrats. When will it be in? It seems like a real value - considering how nice the cab is. I went with the 5525 and I simply love it. 542 SL loader with a trash grapple bucket.

You might want them to add the LSS on the FEL. The loader doesn't beat you to death with the LSS turned on.

Also - on the 3rd SCV on the FEL - you migth want them to beef up the line mounts. I need to post pics of mine. I kept screwing mine up (line getting caught on things, heat expanding the hose clamp, etc). My lines aren't going anyway now.
