ordered the B7510

( I am debating over the 7510 7610 and JD 2210. Anyone want to let me know what your experience has been with these? )

I have a new B7510HSD with LA272 FEL and 33 hours on it and am pleased with it so far. I use it mainly for clearing brush and leveling about 2 acres using FEL and 4' box blade. Bought a 4' bush hog and used it for about 30 minutes on Saturday and like the way it worked. I have the R4 bar tires and they are pretty good for all around use. They don't cut the ground up as much as ag tires would. If I were only using it in the woods or fields I would probably prefer the ag tires.

The 7610 has a little more horsepower and slightly larger tires but I have never been on one so I can't give you any kind of comparison.

So far I am quite happy with it and the HP seems to be sufficient for my needs.

do you think the turf tires would be a better bet if I am going to be mowing primarily? I also will be doing grading and some fel work in the future

yes the turfs would be better if you primarily mow. they still can dig in a bit if you turn sharp though...

i looked at the same 3 back when i was looking. for the money i liked the 7610 the best. after about 70 hours on it, i have no regrets.

What does the 7610 have other than 3 more hp? Thanks for the reply! How is Kubota for parts? Service? I have always used Deere but think I might be going orange this time. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I looked at these 3 as well as the BX2200 back in the summer. I ended up with the B7610. It was about $500 more than the local JD dealer wanted for his "best deal" on a 2210. (I could have taken the B7510 for about $300 less than the 2210) Since it was sort of an unfair comparison, the B' s being CUT and the 2210 being a SUB-CUT. It was kind of a no-brainer. Then again, that was in my area. (all were config with 60"MMM and FEL) The PTO powered grass catcher was a plus for the B series also. The JD 2210 had a seperate B&S motor to drive the impeller on the catcher. Wasn't crazy about that.

I chose the 7610 over the 7510 (about a $800 difference, again config with MMM & FEL) because of the extra 3 HP and the larger loader, (LA302 VS LA 352) which had a bucket 2" wider (50" vs 48") and a lifting capacity of about 110 lbs more. The two tractors are the same size. The B7610 was larger R1 tires only. R4 and turfs are the same size on both. (I got mine with the Bar/Turfs. 21" fronts and 31" rears) I enjoy the tires very much. The rears are loaded, and seem to have a soft compound. So far they are decent on the lawn, work well with the loader and are EXCELLENT on snow and ice, probably because of the soft tire compound. I imagine that they will wear faster than a regular turf tire though, especially if you travel a lot on pavement. The only time I wish I would have chose R4's is when using the box blade. But I'm sure they would have roughed up the lawn more than the bar/turfs. Everything is a trade off I guess.

I almost got the BX2200 in the final minutes of the sale, thinking about saving $3K or so. But I'm glad I opted for the large machine. Without a doubt, I believe that the BX would do everything I do now with the B7610. Maybe it's a testasterone thing, but he 7510/7610 looks more like a tractor. The larger tires and wheels I'm sure help with traction also.

For the $$$, the JD2210 wasn't even in the running. Would have got a Kioti CK20 first.

Good luck. Each tractor is such a personalized purchase. Try to get the one that fits you and has the implements you want to use.

jkm -

I almost went for a JD 2210 like WayneW - but I *held out* for the greater ground clearance / bigger loader of the B7610 / LA352.

My basic needs were to replace an aging mower - and I must say that I am quite satisfied with the mow quality. But then I don't own a "putting green" lawns either - it's whatever Ma Nature decided wants to grow there! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

My decision to go with a B7610 over the JD2210 (which my wife wanted - it was *barely used* - would have saved us several $K) - was based primarily on the greater loader capacity - but also ground clearance - as I knew I'd be going into the woods once in a while.

Click the link to my website in my signature - browse around some of the pictures I've posted. It helped me decide when someone (GregJ IIRC?) posted a great picture of his B7500 with a huge pallet-load of firewood on the 3PH. That gave me a sense of the "work" this size CUT can do.

While never an easy decision for a new tractor owner - I felt the B7610 was the best *value* (comparing new to new prices - I also compared the NH TC24 - but felt it too expensive) and had the FEL power I needed "when" (not if!) I ran into a big rock on my property.

In my case - I can attest that a *smaller* CUT (JD2210 / BX2230) would simply NOT have handled some of the rocks I've managed to move - I could *barely* do it with the B7610 as it was. But I didn't have to rent something - and that was my justification in going with the B7610 in the first place. I think my wife has finally (begrudingly - and silently - so far! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif) realized that we would have been "too small" with one of the other choices.

Hope that helps - Happy New Year & happy CUT shopping!

Happy New Year to All from Calgary, Canada.

I too recently ordered a B7510DT (late October), but have not yet seen it!! Soon after I ordered it, the dealer (and Kubota Canada) realized there were none in Canada. I have been assured that it will arrive at port in Vancouver yesterday or today.

All attachments (front blade and hardware, ballast box, block heater) are at the dealers, so hopefully should have complete unit in 7-10 days. It has been a long wait. Haven't seen too many 7510DT pics, so any links to available pictures would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Philcrafts

I think I have decided to get the 7510...The local dealer has it outfitted with R4s and the 272 FEL ...another dealer has the 7510 brand new in the box and will put on the 302 FEL for about 100 dollars more....any real differences between the 272 and 302?

I'm sure the 302 is a little heavier, maybe a bigger bucket? I have the 272 on my B7400 and have been completely satisfied with it - I can fill the 48" bucket heaping full of dirt or gravel and still pick it up and move it. I'm not doing any professional dirt moving with it, but it sure is fine for my needs and still beats the heck out of any wheelbarrow.

JKM,
For $100 more, I wouldn't even hesitate to go with the 302. I think the dealer is giving you a great deal on that. If you're still in the negotiation stage, see if he can reinforce the top of the bucket and weld hooks on for ya......
