JD 850-sold to buy Kbota Grand L3010
Well, I did it. I ordered a Bushhog brand Rollover Box Blade today.(RO600)
It's probably overkill for my needs, however, I watched one of these babies work behind a NH TC30 the other day, and it has to be the most versatile dirt moving tool I've ever seen.

If I can handle it to 50% of it's ability, I'll be happy. Should be in within a week to ten days. $1300. ouch

Am looking forward to trying it out.

Overkill? Not at all. Better boxes are easier to use and give a better finished surface. Quality costs money. People complain about buying junk that breaks easily or doesn't work as advertised, but they don't complain about a quality tool not breaking or doing everything asked of it.

Don't be afraid to mess with the set up to determine how the box responds. It's the best way to learn.

Kbota, I'm sure that you will enjoy your new rollover. It shouldn't take to long to get the hang of using it. They do work well.;)

Good luck:)

I built a rollover scaled to my YM 1510d and absolutely love it. The versatility of being able to easily switch from pulling to pushing and scarifiers is fantastic. Pushing helps fill in holes or creat piles that you would not want to drive through or over.

You will love it and in a short time not regret the price you paid. You will have a tool that will last for a long time.

Thanks for the input Mike. I read through your fabrication project detail when you were building the rollover. What a great job you did. I work for a major gas pipeline company and we have build a number of "gov'ment jobs" in our welding shops when things were slow. These projects were built by very qualified fabricators and welders. Those guys have nothing on you. Great job !
Well, I picked up the RO600 today. $1300 loaded on my trailer. It sure seems to be well built. The side panels Look like 1/2" plate. I'll spend more time with it in a few weeks when I haul the GL3010 to my property, which needs bushhogging now. I still need to shape the driveway some and get some pit run hauled in.

Thanks again to everyone who commented.
