L5030 cab, JD 2940
I messed up and made someone a price on my JD 2350 Sunday night and he brought me a check yesterday, I went right on down to the Kubota dealer and priced out a 5240 with cab and FEL. Thought I had a good price from this dealer but I called one about 10 miles further away and he beat the price by about 1600. Hated to do it but I am going ahead and pulling the trigger, really impressed with the Kubota, the guy that bought my JD helped settle my decision between the 4xxx series JD and the Kubota. He bought a 6xxx JD last year and has a ton of problems with it, he wishes he had bought the big Kubota.

Let us know when you get it. Anything new is worth taking pics of because it won't be that shiny ever again. Take some pics and share them with us. Good luck on the new machine!

Well my how plans change, was working in the garage on my troybilt tiller before I was going to the dealer and the dealer called. Just had a L5030 cab taken on trade. Less than 200 hours, been used to pull a reel mower and 10K cheaper than the 5240. He emailed me a couple of pics and I bought it over the phone. Won't get it until next week because he wanted to service it and I want to get 1 remote installed.

I've got well over 600 hours on my L5030HSTC.... no complaints or busted items (that I didn't do myself). You'll love it. If you have questions re the 5030, feel free to PM me. Sounds like you got a great deal. Be sure you will ever need only one remote... I wish I had two... one for the hydraulic top link and the other one for other equipment....I only have one.

No offence to 30 series owners, if however you compare the 2 series side by side, you will prefer the 40 series hands down! Dont buy the wrong tractor! I love kubota, always will. I had to learn the hard way spending thousands of $$ on the wrong tractor several times?

The 40 series does have some options that I like but not enough for me to pay 33% more.

I would have to agree, 33% is a ton of money. If you are into this machine for the long haul and plan to do a lot of dirt work, the 40 series is built a lot heavier.
