I've been tending a forested homestead for about 20 years. I don't typically join any forums as there never seems to be any time for them unless your tractor has suddenly turned into a paperweight
. My 'farm" includes some aquaponics, a patch producing Oregon Black Truffles, and I'm in the process of trying to get a hillside of tea planted. I'm retired (at least from a paying job) and trying to build an agritiourism site for a bit of income in my old age, but as slow as I'm progressing it is still pretty iffy. I have a five year old NH Boomer 30 that has done very well over those five years but currently has me baffled, hence the decision to join. I still have an old Massey TO30 that isn't running and, uhhhh, something, even older that was here when I bought the place that I did get running for a short period of time but has been abandoned for many years.
