I have been looking at Ford 8n tractors for a few years and learning about them online. Last year I bought a running 1952 model. Didn't have time for it over winter but began working on it this spring. Cleanup and tuneup were first. The air cleaner was clogged with a few years accumulation of dirt. The last sparkplug change was with lawnmower plugs. I cleaned the gas tank and filter, removed an inline filter and replaced the rubber lines with steel. It has a working front end loader powered by a hyd pump mounted on the crankshaft. My next chore will be getting the 3 point working again. It quit lifting altogether.
