What are some other implements that work woth the JD quick hitch FELs? I have a 300X loader coming and was just curious what else I can attach to it. Also who are other 3rd party accessory vendors that have pieces that attach to the JD FEL??

JD sells a fork set, and a loader mounted snowplow, as well as diferent sized buckets, and a 4in1 bucket...just to name a few.
Most other companies do not make anything to fit the JD style QA, but rather make things to fit the SkidSteer QA setup. Or they sell them plain and you have to make the fit, easily done as the hooks and pins are available through JDParts for about $32.00

A company called ATI has a product called Tach-All that either replaces the proprietary JD QA with a skid-steer style QA or an adapter bracket that converts the JD AQ to a skid-steer QA. They also offer lots of attachments and attachment brackets.

Check out ATI's Tach-All website here.

Here is a picture of their JD QA to skid-steer QA adapter.

ATI also has a pin style QA. To see it you have to download their full product catalog.

Also, I noticed the new line of 300CX FEL's had a skid steer (Bobcat I am sure) bracket mounted directly, in place of the Deere quick-tach. Must be an option. With a third SCV, one could probably activate the locking mechanisms from the 'seat'.

Is this a weld on only option? or can I use it when I need it and use my standard bucket (and someday the JD snowplow) with the regular JD QA?

I have the ATI adapter on my short list of "things to get" but haven't got the roundtuit yet.

Far as I was able to get from ATI, the ATI setup mounts to your JD loader the same as the JD bucket (i.e. easily removable) - and allows the quick mount or dismount of a skid-steer implement. In other words if you're changing FEL implements - you would have the option of releasing the "front side lock" (leaving the adapter on the loader) to go pick up another skid-steer implement, or unlocking the "rear side" (JD) lock and leaving the adapter on the skid steer implement you're removing - to go mount a JD implement.

Nice flexibility, but you will lose some net lift capacity with this setup. First - the ATI adapter has a certain 'thickness' of it's own - so the skid steer implements are mounted further forward of your pivot point. A small difference but still there. Second - you'll be picking up the weight of the ATI adapter itself (not huge, but still counts). Lastly (and maybe the most impact) from what I've seen skid-steer attachments tend to be very heavily built and typically weigh more than a similarly-sized CUT bucket et al. So - your net material lifting capacity will be reduced some.
