New Holland TC24
I have been a New Holland owner since 2004 and have noticed a steady increase in parts over the years, but today I could not beleive my eyes when the dealer charged me over $56.00 for an air filter! In 2006, I only paid $24.00! What could possibly cause an air filter to double in price in only 5 years? Does anybody know where I can buy after-market parts for New Holland? I hate to have to go that route, but Ford pricing is just getting out-of-hand. Any help would be appreciated! :confused2:

i was payin in the mid 30's for inner and outter for mine.

priced a muffler the other day. for the riser, gaskets, muffler ans clamps would have been near 500$.. I did a lil torch and welder work and used a cheap stanley baffled tractor muffler and got by for under 40$

on the flip side.. I see our dealer now sells lubriguard UTF which is 31$ a pail vs near 60 for the ambra g..

It all depends on what model you have on whether that is expensive or not. It is a little high for a TC33 but not for an LW130B.

I looked at your profile to see that you have a TC24. Here is Napa's filter and list price for that machine. The price in the store will be significantly less. 9410 Napa filter

I'd be heading to my auto-parts store and look in his cross reference book. Last time I bought filters for my JD the dealers price was better than the Canadian Tire price...ditto on the battery

While buying some parts for my Arctic Cat snowmobile, I was told the rubber seal for the lid on the master brake cylinder was only available with the cover at a cost of $90.00. Well it isn't that bad so I suggested that I didn't really need it, but could use a new screw to hold down the cover as one is bent. I was quoted $6.00 for this screw which is about a #8 machine screw about 3/4" long (probably metric). If they continue to try to rip me off, I'll retalliate by selling the thing and replacing it with nothing.
