Congratulations, very nice rig. I have the same snow blower on a 4200 and in that I didn't see a weight box or wheel weights on the truck, I was curious as to how you plan on counter balancing the snowblower. I have been using my blower for a couple seasons and have found that a weight box full of iron weights and tire chains on all four wheels have been necessary in order to safely maintain traction.

ballast box had already been unloaded and put in garage when i got out to take pictures.dealer didn't think it would really be needed but we got it anyways just to be sure.so far just playing right now it has been fine.what tires do you have on yours r4's, turf or ag?

I have r-4's. Last season with very little snow and no ice, I was able to survive with a ballast box with 400 # of iron plus all the gravel that will fit (less the space taken up by two lengths of 4" diameter PVC I have in the after corners of the ballast box that I use for ready service chain saw, shovel, pry bar, etc.). However, I felt the need for chains in order to maintain traction on my driveway. This year with 147 inches of snow, so far, and ice, I wouldn't have made it without both chains and the ballast box. My dealer didn't think I would need either a ballast box or chains.....he was wrong.
