They were nonexistant everywhere a few years ago. In my parents neighborhood people were all excited about two wild turkeys 6 years ago. Recently a rafter of approximately 70 was spotted. Their neighbors feed the turkeys and now the turkeys come banging on the windows expecting a handout. Like the deer they have no natural predators.
