Leadership was able to film this from her office this morning. The filming started after it tried to catch a goose. I may get rid of all my other pets and just keep this one:) I am old, and haven't had this good a look in my life.

The only predator around here I really fear, they are incredibly strong and tear up dogs and are very hard to hunt when they know they are in your domain. Last one killed critters for over two months here then got in a fight with a pitbull (nearly killed the pitbull) and I was able to get him a few days later probably only because he was hurt pretty bad at likely hungrier than normal. Much respect and they are beautiful creatures, but boy do they do some damage.

ETA, here’s all a pit bull was able to do to it. It wasn’t broken either. Just swollen and infected.

Thanks.

Here in MO I’ve only seen one Bobcat. He was in the woods feeding on a rabbit.

Amazing creature.

Yup, sorry bobcat, boss got a video that is pretty impressive, as time permits I will try to get it uploaded.

We have all small house pets that malinger around outside looking at bugs when the weather is nice. I fear this will turn into a hunting expedition......... Nice looking cat though.

Best,

ed

Understood, we have a flotilla of geese (that are hell on the yard) and two turtle nests leadership is watching (I suppose she will collect them and force me to raise snapping turtles). Lots of deer, a few turkey, pair of eagles, and a couple of red tail hawks. Believe it or not, twice a year we get a flock of pelicans about 40 yards out in the lake.

We are blessed.

Boss has a beagle, I don't care much for stubborn little dogs, but, would gladly sacrifice my life to save this one rather than to listen to the wife if something happened to her.

We always try, but, it will be interesting if we can find a coexistence strategy. If all it did was run off the geese, I would pay it well:)

Best,

ed
