Out of Balance?

I've read about loading the tires for better balance, but how does one tell if one needs to do this. I've used the loader on my FX28D without any problems and the machine is fairly heavy to begin with (3972 pounds). I live on flat, flat terrain where my only worry is driving into the bayou (maybe I oughta get those flotation tires roger scotty has). I guess the question is, do I have to worry about anything with this big a machine or not?

PS. Maybe they are already loaded. and I just don't know it.

I would say that if the tractor doesn't feel like it needs the extra weight then you probably don't need to add anything. I have driven some tractors that needed the extra weight and you could easily tell.

PS- The tires are not already filled. I took them off to paint them. If they were filled I would probably still be trying to get them up off of the floor

I figured that it was probably obvious, but it never hurts to ask questions, even if it shows your inexperience and lack of knowlege (better off looking stupid and learning than acting smart and staying ignorant).
