Keep in mind those of us who post on TBN are all 都ocial influencers to a certain extent.
You're confusing influence with opinion. While there may or may not be some here who are just looking for somebody to tell them what tractor to buy, most members give their opinions to help with decisions, to help the buyer make informed decisions. (Although there still seem to be many who screw up anyways, and buy something which isn't a Kubota.)

. . .

As for GPS...The powers that be (military etc.) have redundant inertial systems that can use previously archived GPS data for corrections...the inertial systems require no outside data or references etc...they are stand alone units...

I think you have that backwards, the inertial systems use GPS data for corrections. Inertial systems are indeed stand alone systems, but are now old technology, part of the problem they had was drifting due to coriolis effect which is different at different latitudes.

Actually the inertial systems do not need any data for corrections but they use it because they can (known fixed points to several decimals)...old tech or not...inertial systems are part of the redundancy the military is currently employing in their most advanced vehicles (i.e., F-35 etc.)

What has greatly improved is gyroscope technology and using AI to control them...

BTW...inertial systems must know it's initial starting (fixed) point...

I check headlines in the AM and again in the PM. Most of the time my cell phone is in the kitchen or on my truck dashboard. I think I left Maine 3 times last year for pleasure trips. I have clearly lost some social skills but I no longer wear a tie or keep a fast schedule.

They couldn't believe it. I didn't extend any of the many, many free subscriptions when they expired at six months on the Taco Wagon. Not Sirius XM travel, not Sirius XM music, not UConnect, not Sirius XM security - not a single one of them. Remote start is fun to play with but I never "use" it.

FINALLY - when I'm in the Taco Wagon - there is nobody looking over my shoulder. And even though I had to buy a new Apple iPhone XR to "pair with" the software in the pickup - I still don't take the iPhone with me when I leave the house. But I DO use the iPhone - as a phone.

Old habits just don't die..........

Lauri Laughlin's daughter of the recent College admissions scandal was a "wannabe" social influencer. This was her aspiration in life. Her mother's aspiration was for her daughters to go to a fancy college. Not some state thing either. She was willing to pay $500,000 for that to happen. Now she is facing jail time.

A) If you want to eat healthy, buy the ingredients and make it yourself.

B) I just noticed the term for the first time myself. Apparently there are people who somehow get a bunch of 吐ollowers (aka 都heep? on social media, then tell them where they should eat, what they should wear, who they should vote for, how they should think. Then they somehow coerce merchants into giving them discounts and free stuff, on the assumption that the 吐lock will patronize that store on the sheperd痴 word.

The last is just my uneducated take on it, experiences may vary.

pretty sure this is right

My 2012 F150 came with Sirius, I got weeks and weeks of harassing phone calls to renew. It took a mailed threat of legal action to stop it.

On the positive side, our family uses a phone app called WhatsApp to stay in touch. Immediate family members are living in California, Wyoming, Wash DC, Rwanda and Finland. With that application, we can share thoughts, activities, photos etc very easily. Not like living in the same town but really a big help for the whole family.

Off topic but i am a land surveyor and this statement is pretty true. For accurate positions, say within an inch, GPS doesn’t work in the trees or near large objects such as tall buildings well. Gyroscopes would allow accurate position when GPS loses lock. The technology is not quite there for surveyors because of the size and weight. I know someone that was ex military and the equipment at that time filled up a Humvee.
