Out with the old ford in with the new/used ford

Bought this one from a older couple moving to florida.They bought it brand new in 2009 so one owner.It has 84,000 original miles with all maint. records from day one.

I always hear about people finding that kind of deal. I spend months looking and always end up with something that nickel and dimes me to death. I bought my Ranger 3 years ago, dumped thousands of dollars into the front end, suspension, brakes, tires, exhaust including both cats...I've added 50K to the odometer and will be lucky to sell it for 1/2 of my $7500 purchase price.


My next pickup is going to be an F150 with 0 miles on it.

Paid $7500 for the explorer but agree on buying new.Purchased our 2008 ford taurus,2016 ram and 2018 dodge challenger new.

I have a 99 Mustang GT, and a 2003 F-150. Both have been extremely reliable.

The Mustang only has 115,000 miles but they are like dog miles. It started as my DD/track car and got reduced to track days only for a few years. I have it tagged again and drive it a couple of times a month. I still do a track day every so often.

The F-150 has 180,000 miles and is still my go to work vehicle. It has also towed the Mustang to and from the track since 2006.

I think some of the 3 valve V8s had problems in the newer trucks.
