Out with the old..In with the new

T185, I am in the process of getting a 2305 or a 2320, I can't quite decide between the two, I may just flip a coin. Did you look at other units beside the 2305 and what sold you on this unit.

Yes, I looked at all three...The smaller size of the 2305 was the biggest selling point. I have 5 acres mostly wooded with about 1 acre of grass to mow, so far I used the 2305 to spread 25 yards of mulch take down a 20" walnut and move two triaxle loads of topsoil. If I wanted a backhoe I might of gone to the bigger machine but the few times I might need a backhoe I will rent a JD 110. The biggest downside (IMO) with the BH attacments is not the power of the attachment but the lack of weight of the tractor. To be honest with you, I did second guess myself on my selection but after spending some seat time on the 2305 I am very pleased with my choice....And with the savings over the 2320 I can buy some attacments..

Big change for the better, no more fixing ruts in the yard from the ford
I am very impressed with the amount of power this little bugger has, now if I could only find a set of pallet forks...

Now thats what i call down sizeing.....
that was a pretty good size ford. and i must say that
420 is in exceptional shape for 1385 hours.
but you will have alot more fun driveing the 2305.
