Cooked the ribs and butt, turned out great. The temps are really easy to maintain, even when opening the door, the temps recover in a couple of minutes.

OK,... here's a couple of pics of how the tops look now. Be nice. Not my best work. (they looked soooo nice before the sealer). I'm really close to cracking this nut, not there just yet, but i'm gaining. I am truly sick at how they look (with all the work i've done, and how they looked before the sealer) it just makes me mad at myself for not researching this better.

It looks good to me, too bad you didn't like it. Guess you'll have to send it my way and start over. :D

Love this project btw!

I have the same questions! my husband and I bought a house with an in-ground pool. We want to make an outdoor living room/kitchen since we have the perfect set up in the backyard for it. My question is, where do I start? We want to try to do most of this on our own but we need some direction on where to get the supplies. I did some searching and found these outdoor cabinets and stuff. We live in Indianapolis and since Spring is only a couple months away we decided it would be a good time to start the project so it is ready in time for warm weather. I may be overestimating the required time for this kind of project, but I want it to definitely be ready in time. Can anyone tell me about the quality of this stuff? Thanks for the help. Any advice would be great because we are clueless.

The cabinets you're looking at looks to be covered (out of the weather), i would be careful with any wood cabinets. The frames of mine are pressure treated, but the doors and drawers will be stainless steel. Its gonna take some time if you're starting from scratch (footers, patio, counter tops, etc.) Also think about wiring, drains, water, and lighting. It also helps to have your grill, and other acc. before you start on the cabinets. Measure your space, and draw-out your design. Good luck.

Ok Buggy, show us that finished Outdoor Kitchen...

I just got started back on it yesterday (too many irons in the fire). I let it set all winter and then got busy this spring with other things. I'll get some pics up as soon as i make some progress.

Do you have any pics of yours? I'd love to to them, may give me some ideas.

We are a bit opposite. I built my oven, installed a roof over it, and am just now starting on cabinets. So I guess I could post some pictures of the roof and ceiling. Are you covering yours or will it be "roofless":D

It will be roofless, the trees kinda cover it.
