Yep, that is why I am trying to spread the word! I didn't know about them either until 4 years ago when I saw one on eBay.

In Europe they are available with a 3 point lift and PTO. There is at least one company importing them here now.

Sorry, but I can't help you with the tractor decision.

Very cool, but the price of implements/attachments can be ridiculous.

whats the chinese tractors like in the States?
The Australian market has some pretty good gear coming from China, but we are a much small market.

That's a question only you can answer. The answers to the 6 or more questions like the following will determine your overall decision.

1. What do you want to do with it?
2. What space restrictions do you have?
3. What financial restrictions do you have?
4. Who are your closest 3 dealer/service centers?
5. Do you know how, and have the facilities and desire to do maintenance and repairs on tractor yourself?
6. Who's going to use it and what physical/mental restrictions do they have?

I am very busy, so feed back will be slow, but I bought the LS 7040 for 49,000. It has the shuttle forward/reverse, and a loader with joystick control. It is the tier 3 engine, and that is a plus over the tier 4, that cost more and is yet to be proven.

I don't know squat about the bigger LS tractors, but it would be reasonable to believe that you should have a handle on "LS in general" since you bought what looks like a very similar tractor about a dozen years ago.
