Hi,

I have the 2410 and always use the seatbelt. I am of average size and weight.

Problem is that every time I turn my body slightly in the seat to look backwards, the belt ratchets down a notch. After doing that for about 5 minutes I have to undo the belt and reattach it.

Is there some way to stop the ratcheting, safely?

Thanks,

Fred

I'm well aware of this. As with others on this board, I've given my BX2200 a name. Bota Constrictor! Get used to it, I know of no fix. I had considered a metal clip (child car seat type) to prevent it from retracting past a certain point, but then when you unbuckle, you have to deal with the flopping belt with nowhere to put it.

Thanks, I will grin and bear it. Too bad too, it's the only thing I don't like about the 2410.

I just use one of the heavy paper clamps on the belt to keep it from ratcheting in. I've been thinking about hooking a magnet on it near the end so I could stick it on the ROPS when it's not in use.

On the L3830, I go over the fold down armrests. I'm still secure but not restricted.

I don't know if you guys have the armrests.
