Re: Owned Kub\'s X 17 yrs, NO MORE! Getting a JD!

i purchased a new kubota about two months ago, this is my second kubota. before i laid down the green i studied green, red, even yellow also. my conclusion is tractors are like truck manufacturers. what flavor do you like they are all alike for the most part and it for me it got down to who would look after my tractor best when it breaks. kubota won. i agree, this guy is just a troll.

My B6100HST has a RC48 MMM, and the tractor has 2200hrs on it now, and I believe that most of those hours are from mowing (only owned it a year). It's age is showing, yet isn't falling apart like his is. Were the bigger decks more prone to failure, or was it "operator mis-calculations" I wonder?
Which reminds me, I have to mow the 2 acres tomorrow after work. It might be old, but I really enjoy mowing with it.

Enjoying the Kubota! Isn't that what it's all about! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

JoeRe-

I have two sons, ages 9 and 3. Based on my experience with my kids (and combative adults who insist they need some sort of emergency assisstance), I know exactly where you are coming from. As far as I'm concerned, you can go ("so I'm gone for good") or stay, but you will not make many friends with posts such as those you made on this thread.

The people on this forum are the most helpful, kind, and funny group that I have ever experienced on the internet. With that in mind, maybe you can fill out your profile and post with less anger and more humor.

After all, I am the Bonehead here!

I am not a troll. Where am I bashing Kubota?

I think you misunderstand what I said or I did not say it correctly. I am not calling you a troll, I don't really care for the idea of it either way. In the photography forum I visit, they would indeed start off calling you a troll. I think its silly. What I am saying is your complaining here telling us about the problem your having that probably very few if any of us can even relate too. I suppose the best most of us could do is offer sympathy short of having a solution, other then that, its just someone ticked off at a manufactuer when we really don't have both sides of the story. I have learned over the years that there almost always are two sides to a story. The national news has taught me that. Best of lluck with whatever you choose.

That's right, we don't have both sides of the story. Hopefully Neal can update us this week.
I can understand being ticked that parts or implements are not available anymore for an industrial grade machine that's "only six years old"! Don't go away mad. I'd be livid too, but let the forum do its stuff--you might be surprised what turns up.

Re: Owned Kub\'s X 17 yrs, NO MORE! Getting a JD!

The RC60-71B Fits all B7100HSD's with serial numbers over 61076. Thats the more recent generation of this tractor, there was a different tractor built under the same model number back with the B6200,B6100 vintage. I would not doubt someone assumed that you had one of the older B7100's. The mower deck for the tractor that you have is most certinaly still available. The 60" lists for $2389.

Kubota builds 7 decks for the current B-Series tractors and still supports the older tractors with 14 other models.

If I put my dukes up and talk tough, can I get you to visit my place in Wisconsin with your backhoe for a little job?

Darn!! A perfectly good fit thrown for nothing. He could have saved that rant for something else if he had known he could still buy a mower.

( Well, this is a KUBOTA forum, so don't be surprised that all who have answered are Kubota owners. I also notice that he is a new member.. and obviously a motivated one.

good luck with the JD! )

I apologize for the comment. I found the thread through the "Last 12 Hours" button, and honestly did not even notice which forum it was in. I assumed (oh, boy, you know what that means) it was the JD and I did not check.
