page doent return after picture views

I was wondering if someone could help me . when I scroll down a page and click a picture and the return It goes to the top of the page.
Is this normal?
I seem to remember it just returning to where i was

It bugs me too... I do a right mouse click on the thumbnail, and click on open in a new tab.

Thnaks i reposted it , I will try the right click . know its something simple almost like it might be in the properties section just cant remember lol

I hope it's something that we can change... very irritating on a long thread or one with many photos... The "open in new tab", is not the greatest but it beats scrolling after every photo.

It has been that way since the last software upgrade. Apparently it is not an easy fix because it has been discussed in the past without change.
