We used to have some neighbors who kept one in the house. They claimed she used a litter box just like a cat. I used to see them walking it in the mornings when I walked my dog. They walked it on a leash with a halter ( not top)of some type. I bet it weighed 300 lbs. It walked anywhere it wanted to...

Actually this one was a bargain, I got her for free as a piglet.

And yes... low to no ground clearance... but boy can she do a job on grass... notice there wasn't any in her pen?

And dig? If I could rig up a cable reel.. I could loan her out to the tv and telco.. she can dig a slow walking trench in the ground with her snout that i need a pick axe to dig in..

<font color=blue>Just a coupler of observations. I'll bet you paid more than $40 for her. She has awfully low ground clearence. Are you sure you have enough 3pt lift capacty to transport her?

Believe it or not.. in a pig kind of way, they are very clean. She only goes to the bathroom in one corner of her pen... ( unlike my dogs... ).
Unfortunately the corner of the pen she has choosen as 'the spot' is right in front of the gate.... So, I usually step over the fence on the side where it is a 3' hog panel..

As for walking her.. um.. I may be going out on a limb here.. but I'm guessing that I'm not strong enough to walk her. She probably easilly weighs as much as i do.. maybee more.

This thread sure has a funny blend of subjects./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif As far as the PTO shaft goes it may well be cheaper to get a whole new one.
