You might want to check out a paint called Hammerite. It is thick paint and comes in about seven colors. The finish comes out to a hammered finish. I've used the spray and brush on type. The paint on type goes on alot thicker. Ive used this on a snowmobile trailer three years ago(I live in Maine) still looks good. I 've used rustoleum before you can't compare the two. It does not need a primer just remove loose rust. The paint also dries extremely fast.

TSC's spray paint is made by Varathane. Varathane makes good paint products. I'm not sure if the cans of paint are from the same manufacture. Sure beats Krylon.

TSC's paint is made by Valspar, not Varathane. I checked a spray can at home last night. Valspar has been around since 1806 and they also make the McCloskey and Plasti-Kote brands.

Rustoleum has a "hammered finish" paint that Home Depot sells. Works good, lasts a long time. Apply over rust, comes in several colors. Pic attached.
