I can't imagine the loss in lifting advantage of the bucket being 4 to 6 inches forward is noticeable. I don't mind the loss in exchange for the improved efficiency and safety of not having to try to lift and pry an attachment in place. The thing that wears on me when doing tractor work is the on and off to get implements attached. Every time I can reduce the number of times I have to get on and off the machine it is a good thing - especially the next day!
