Pallet fork size - 36", 42" or 48"?

I just purchased these off eBay.

I went to pick them up an hour and a half from my house today.... I had to pay $40 NY sales tax...... so the out the door price was $540
I think they are nice for the price

They raised the price to $595

I bought these on EBay . They are 48". They put a new set up for auction every week.

I have 42" and tried 48" before buying, but found the 48" were too difficult maneuvering where I normally use them. This past weekend I was in the woods cutting up downed limbs and trees with forks on front to lift limbs off the ground and carry-all on the back to load wood on. Then I wished I had set of 36" to get around easier.

This blank plate is the piece that is already on the SSQA forks, won't work to add 3pt pins you would need the QA frame with locking handles to mate into the forks.

Not all fork frames are built the same but I was lucky mine were thick enough to weld extra vertical steel in with holes for the 3pt pins without interfering with the QA and use it on the back.
