Robert, thank you for your reply. You have confirmed my thoughts. I am only really concerned with one of the fields. This one field will require a turn at the bottom of the hill. When this field was last hayed with a kicker, it was done with a IH 1066, which is about 5000 lbs heavier not to mention longer, wider and bigger tires. I have two options. Option one is to leave off the wagon and turn off the kicker. Option two is to not hay that last 1.5 acre. Either way, better safe than sorry!
As for ballast for the loader work. I really want quick weight changes to minimize compaction and maximize my time. I will create a seperate post. I need the input of you guys with the UT's.
PS Your posts on the TN75 almost had me signing on the dotted line, but the deal on this 5420 is just too sweet! Neither unit was "perfect", but darn they were close!
