Loader Pallet forks

I have a 2006 Kioti CK30HST with a KL30 loader. Looking to install a pallet forks set up with bucket removed. I do not have a quick disconnect

Add a quick connect...10-20 minutes knocking pins out and getting them to line back up is for the birds switching between bucket/forks.

When I bought my New Holland 1925 in 1998, dealer told me quick attach wasn't available for it. Found ATI company in (get this) NEW HOLLAND Pa that makes them for any tractor....just tell them the brand/model, and they have one.

second that if you are going to add other equipment.
you would also need to convert the bucket to quick hitch.

are you going to lift really heavy objects?
if not clamp on forks work really great as well.... easy peasy on and off and much cheaper than all the above

How to add pallet forks:

Step 1. Convert to quick connect. You won't regret it.

Step 2. Get quick connect compatible forks.

Step 3. Forever enjoy the benefit of having forks (very, very useful!) and other implements without spending 20+ minutes changing implements over.

I have a 2004 model year CK30hst with the KL130 loader which is pin on. In 2007 or 2008, the CK30 and KL130 loader was made with a quick attach. I bought the Kioti quick attach adapter that fit perfectly on my loader arms using the bucket pins. I did see some aftermarket adapters but they were built heavy as to be on a 45 or more hp machine. Then I found an after market QA bucket and forks. It sure makes life easier than knocking out four pins every time you want to change. Just an idea but more cost than pulling the pins to switch.

That make sense since one model fits all SSQA tractors, vs numerous pin on models for various tractors,,, lots of inventrory or build upon order. Just more hassle for the distributor.

You may be on your own since 'they' tend not to want to help those that don't comply with their demands. Note that the Quick stuff adds weight and reduces your lift capacity. There have also been a number of threads discussing failures of the system resulting in some rather serious injuries.

If you don't have the welding skills, maybe there's a shop in your area that could fabricate something for you.

I went from a pin on bucket on the old JD to the SSQA on the LS. It is well worth the investment IMHO to convert.

I have pallet forks, a grapple and also a plate that allows me to put 3 PH attachments on the FEL. for light grading and raking it is easier to have those attachments on the front...at least for me. For heavier grading, the blade is better on the 3PH.

Another consideration is the added value of your machine if you ever trade it or sell it. Also whatever attachments you purchase will fit your new tractor with SSQA

I can switch from my bucket to forks to power angled snow plow in minutes.
I won't own tractor without it.

I agree with this 100%. Quick connect is the way to go and forks are great that can be on and off in minutes. Not to mention if you ever decide to buy a grapple for it.

Maybe you could use all the money you’ve saved from boycotting Amazon and buy a SSQA mount. The only thing better is a hydraulic actuated SSQA. That was one of the biggest reasons I traded my 310. Since I got the M59 it’s been wearing the forks more than the bucket.

I cant say which is on the tractor more, but I find the forks more handy these days since most of my earthwork is finished.

I had an old grey market Mitsubishi for 20 years. It had a loader made by the dealer after it was imported. It was pin on. I made a fork attachment for it myself. It took about 10 minutes to change. It was good enough. But as I am getting older I wanted a better tractor. So I bought a ID 2025R TLB. And added a brush mower and back blade plus a thumb for the backhoe. I must admit that I love the QA. But the JD system really is not any heavier. The skid steer is a lot heavier. And that is why I bought the Deere. My most important need is lift with the forks. The Kubota was much less in the same size tractor. In part because of the QA. But the main reason I upgraded was to get power steering and hydrostatic drive. And for more attachment availability.

Yep. I Quickly converted 2 older loaders and never looked back. I can Quickly switch attachments and Quickly find other attachments that fit my tractors. I can Quickly exchange attachments between sites in the back of my truck as well.
