Your allegiance to your "mentor" is heart-warming in this day and age of ruthless grant poaching.

Sadly, your mentor has found himself in a situation where one cannot hide behind the old standby: the standard deviation. I am afraid he is using you in the most callous of ways. The best thing is to just ignore him and his unthinking requests which may jeopardize your future standing within the scientific community.

If we are still talking about stacking pallets in the field, if I ever find out who stacks these pallets in my field ,they are going to be sorry.
As any pallet farmer knows pallets only grow in the winter months.
