Pallets in fields

What if the OP went and asked and is now at the mercy of the pallet overlord?
or hes in a dry well and having to "put the lotion on the skin". :)
If the pallets were Placed in the fields keeps them from damaging the farm buildings if they explode.
so now we have spontaneous pallet combustion?

Tom... you are not helping!

Pallets on the range
Pallets on the range
In the pasture an alien feigns
In this world a legend reigns
Like a god without a throne
A tractor out alone
Pallets on the on the range

Very good !

This mystery is becoming clearer now.

Tractchores, in reporting the odd kill of a deer at a nearby lake said this: I did see some strangely positioned pallets on the lake the evening before, anything that has to do anything with this? :)

Aliens need nourishment too. Hence the deer kill, although this is incidental to the pallet mystery. What we are seeing is the seminal establishment of an insidious Alien Cargo Cult. Cargo travels on pallets, of course, and earthlings are wont to worship Cargo as evidenced by the Monuments to Cargo to be found in every town and village.

The pallet formations are markers for Alien Cargo Cult activities which are carried out behind cloaking shields. To the uninitiated, the pallets appear to be random and meaningless. Only those within the Inner Circle of the Alien Cargo Cult may discern the true purpose of the pallets.

So do you think that the pallets in the inverted V formation (right-way up from this side of the world ) are the attractant to the aliens ??? Pallets stacked flat they don't notice. Could be they like to eat venison so Sparc might still be alive, but just have trouble sitting down.

First they show up in fields, then closer to your house, then your livestock starts to disappear...

Gentlemen,

A cautionary note. This new "evidence" from Tractchores must be viewed with skepticism -- he is one of the charter members of the "Alienist" faction.

Awaiting alien deliveries? Or maybe trying to get back the pallet deposit on them?

I would be the last to impugn his integrity, but some "shady" scientists have been known to fudge the data to fit their theories. That being said, there does appear to be a mounting body of evidence in support of an "Alienist" explanation.

Also, has Bob (AKA sparc) participated in the "What's for Supper" thread? If so, has he said anything about having venison?

Dave, do you think this scientific instrument would be able to penetrate "cloaking shields"?

And to follow up on your post regarding the backward spelling of "sparc", what do you make of the fact that "Bob" is a palindrome?

My mind tells me that the Alienists are onto something but, my heart is with the Hayists.

Steve, I am unable to view your attachment. Perhaps the Aliens are messing with us?

Yes, it is just too coincidental that "BOB" is a palindrome--in light of "sparc" being a reversed epithet.

The renowned physicist, Robert Feynman, has recognized the science and mystery of Cargo Cults:

Cargo cult science refers to practices that have the semblance of being scientific, but do not in fact follow the scientific method. The term was first used by the physicist Richard Feynman during his commencement address at the California Institute of Technology, United States, in 1974. Cargo cults—the religious practice that has appeared in many traditional tribal societies in the wake of interaction with technologically advanced cultures—focus on obtaining the material wealth (the "cargo") of the advanced culture by building mock aircraft, landing strips, pallet formations and the like.

Naturally, the advanced science of the Aliens will be immune to our paltry understanding of the "scientific method."
