Only in the morning. This activity is often euphemistically referred to as "morning wood".

Ah, that's awesome. During one of our family trips many years ago, my MIL mistook the term "morning wood" for some type of bird. Our entire conversation went completely over her head. To this day, remembrance of that event still elicits huge amounts of laughter from myself and the brothers-in-law. No one involved had any idea the term was coined to describe wild pallet breeding sessions.

Yes, he must be... I chose to ignore James' comment as one born of pallet frustration. Perhaps he'd just had a long day or your Winter blues got to him.

Heck, we've only just gone past 2 years analysing the phenomena. The OP has mysteriously gone missing (at least from this thread), various governments/universities have not come forward with research grant funds (Lord knows I've applied enough times for them) and we're no closer to solving the inverted V pallet formations.

Yet the conundrum remains!
