Wondering who manufactured your router bits and paint brush???..........Were you wearing your Izod shirt????????.............Kinda funny actually...............
Redid my bench a couple of years ago.......Did NOT use cedar as the lifetime of it is really not very long nor is it structual. Cedar that you buy from home depot and the like is actually cedar from Oregon/Washington. The stuff you see the guys on "Ax Men" cutting...........For stuff like this I use pressure treated yellow pine which is pretty much as hard as iron...lol....right..........but really it is good stuff to use for lasting a long time and keeping it's structural values.
One can easily break off the edges/corners of the wood with any hand sander and perhaps 60 grit paper and then go over to 120 or so for smoothing it out nice. For me, I just leave it unfinished as I like that look and it NEVER looks like I got lazy and didn't get around to refinishing yet............Anyway....yours came out nice so use it well. lolol......whatever keeps the wife happy and my Princess grand daughter sittin with me as we perch on it watching the birds.......God bless.......Dennis
