I have a lithium ion phosphate solar generator at my cabin. Lithium ion phosphate chemistry is light years safer than the old Lithium Ion batteries. They don't suffer from the thermal runaways that the older chemistry batteries do.

I have no problems storing the solar generator at my cabin.

That was a cataclysmic event (volcano's) the raised the atmospheric temperatures that caused their demise. Too bad really I bet they would be fun to ride on (and not get eaten in the process)....

That has never stopped far as I know. I'm sure they are well bankrolled if not by us, then by the Chinese.
