Prokop, I thought your Homeland was famous for its finely crafted rifles and shotguns.:D

And I am really proud of it - except when commies sold weapons to every bastrd in the world like Semtex (Czech product too) to Kadafi. I just never got around buying one.

Oh I'm not talking about those weapons.

Fine rifles and shotguns with checkering and engraving and set triggers and fitted stocks and fine barrels and actions and etc.:D

lets not forget good Czech dirt bikes. In my youth I had CZ-400 cc dirt bike that kicked like a mule with a wide leather belt that held the fuel tank to the frame. it was heavy and crude but sure could not destroy it, it was built like a tank. it was akin to Ford 8N.:D

Is that a Jeep in the background? Not to go off topic, but how did your Jeep rebuild project go?

It is running since May or so - except I still need to fix the fuel gauge:) Somehow there never is time to do little things once the vehicle is on the road:)

Jinman, I never weight deer, don't really have a way, but it was good sized deer, compare to typical local does.

About the "purse" - due to my roots I am very happy with it, just the right amount of space for all I need out in the woods, pretty much like the American bag of possible. Check this out: Hunter's bags

And thanks for replies and jests, gentlemen.

Now that I see that ad....looks like that could be handy..in fact there were ammo bags with straps used in the Korean war and maybe WWII by our Army that were made out of fabric..same principal ..strap in over your shoulder and it kept your ammo handy..thanks for the info...I learned something.

LOL, that's hunters bag I got from my family in Prague - more European than American thing I quess.

I have a similar, but slightly smaller bag (I refuse to call it a purse) that I used extensively the summer I spent in Lafayette, IN working as a summer intern at Purdue University. Not so much for my job, but I got off around 2:30 and spent nearly every afternoon wading and fishing Wildcat Creek. It came in very handy for holding a pair of pliers, a small box of lures, ID, fishing license, and truck keys.

I still have it hanging in the barn and my wife never misses an opportunity to tease me about my purse.
