Very nice job. Well thought out and it shows. I plan on doing pretty much same set-up as we get our share of snow in Upstate NY also.
I do have a question. How easy is it to change back to bucket? I did a snow plow set-up like this for a friend (as per his desire) by welding brackets into the FEL bucket and mounting with quick pins. Made for a nice hook/unhook but made length of tractor so long it was hard to manuver. Maybe your hook-up design may solve my question.

The changeover take about 3 minutes to do. JD uses its own style quick-attach setup. There are 2 hooks on top, and 2 pins on the bottom. I think the first post shows these.
Just get off the tractor, remove two clevis pins, get on tractor, put bucket on the ground, uncurl the bucket and back away. Drive up to plow, get the top hooks engaged by operating loader joystick, then curl and lift, then get off to insert pins and hook up two hoses.
I also made a forklift setup the same way.
Its is easier to do than to type!

Great end to a great project. Are you happy with the setup or would you make changes at this point. BTW, was the plow the cause of you loader ram problem ??

GoodGuy, I would not make any changes. Everything works as planned.
Plow had nothing to do with cylinder problem. I have been having internal leakge in them for a while, long before the plow was even built. I just decided to fix it this past weekend.

I noticed that lots of contractor plowers use rings, (the type that you'd attach to a chain to serve as a chocker), rather than washers to stack. That way you only need 5 or 6 rather than dozen or more washers. Each ring is about 1/4" thick in the 1"-1/4" dia size.
With a full load of snow up front, how was the stearing? and side plowing? were you able to push accumulated banks back without turning into the banks? or is that asking too much of the tractor given it's weight.
My concern would be overworking the front axles/diff as on my truck I have snapped the odd axel due to that.
