Chasing wires on my 2007 TC40a and cane across this . Looks like it was a speaker or an alarm maybe . Would this be causing a part of my intermittent starting ?

That looks like to be a Safety control module. Monitors the seat safety switch, neutral switch, Pto switch and probable some more stuff. So yes, that can indeed cause random starting issues and it looks like to be in very bad shape.

I took it out and it fires right up . Pto switch and neutral will still not let it start I tested that . Also what is this for looks. like someone did some wire splicing
