JD 4310 4WD turf tires
I've got a 4310 mfwd eHydro with R3 Turf tires.
I have a lot of hedge trees with thorns on my property
and I bought a spare front tire 27*8.50-15 and now
I want to buy another wheel. This all came about because
last summer I had a slow leak in a different front tire
that I took to get repaired four times till they finally found
the leak. I was losing about 2 psi a day. And it was sure a pain
until they finally got it fixed. We had to put 50 psi in it
and set it in the sunlight till the leak finally would reveal itself.
Soap bubbles and dip tank wouldn't work.
Anyway the JD parts book shows two different part numbers
for 15X6 wheels. One is JD1091 and the other is AM127496.
They also show a third part number JD3229 for a 15 X8 LB
wheel. Does anyone know which wheel is the right part number to buy for the 27*8.50-15 tire?

Thanks

Perry, I don't know the number, buy look on your existing rim and it should have the numbers stamped into the metal. It will give you the size x width and some numbers from the manf. Titan. That should give you enogh to get the right wheel from JD or from a tire shop.

Thanks TractorHal.
I looked and sure enough 15X6 LB is stamped on the wheel.
Now I am more confused as the parts book has two
15X6 wheels and one 15X8 LB. It (parts book) doesn't have any 15X6LB listed. Oh well. maybe the dealer can sort it out.
The thing is, if I order the wrong part, I am stuck with it.

Perry,
JD1091 is a 15 x 6 wheel for 2wd tractors
AM127496 is the 15 x 6 wheel for 4wd tractors
Hope this helps, let me know if I need to fax or e-mail this page to you, for them to see before you order.

I wasn't in any big hurry to get this extra wheel and I
was looking through the Valu-Bilt catalog and spotted
some generic 15X6 LB wheels for $43 plus $9 shipping.
About half of the Deere price.
The bolt patterns and center hole were the same spec.
So, I took a chance as the Valu-Bilt guys said that I could
return it if it didn't fit. Well I ordered it on March 15th and the
Valu-bilt guys said it should arrive in 2 -3 days. I still didn't
have it by the 22nd so I called and they checked with
FedEx and their records said it was delivered to me on March 17th. Funny thing, I didn't sign for it and I didn't have
any wheel either. So Valubilt guys said they would
file a claim with FedEx and in the meantime they sent
a second wheel via UPS. Hmmm the Fedex wheel
showed up on the 23rd with a note apologizing
for delivering to the wrong address. Funny thing,
I checked with all the neighbors within a 1/4 mile radius
and they didn't have the wheel either. My theory is
that the Fedex guy just held onto the wheel to annoy me
since he drove off my driveway a couple of years ago
while in the snow and tore up my yard. (He only missed the
drive by 30 feet.) I complained about it to his supervisor.
So my guess is that the driver got in trouble so he is
making up for it.
Anyway.... back to the wheel. I opened the box and lo and behold. It is a Titan wheel. It fits the hub and the offset
is slightly different than the original wheel. about a half inch
difference. I hope it will work and it won't hit anything
like the 430 FEL arms.
