9282 new holland
I own a 9282 New Holland 4-wheel drive tractor my M P H display on the dash is reading to slow, for example on the road it will show 12.8 I put a portable G P S in the cab and it shoes 16 which is correct, I have installed a new speed sensor,I have recalibrated it to the top end wich is 50 the range of calibration is 20 to 50 I just bought the tractor it was set on 46 at first then it was showing 11.8 so you see it helped a little not enough, I have contacted 3 diffrent service managers in the area, they all tell me they will have to do some research and get back with me nothing happens. one of them told me to check the ohms on the speed sensor it should read somewhere in the 1000 to 1200 range I did that and I have 1240 ohms, so where do I go from here. Any ideas would be appreciated, THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

tires are not original but are original size and also I have calibrated it to the top end so I should be able to calibrate it to the tire size any way. Am I right?
