What a great idea! We can kick it around and have a great time with the subject, then put the conclusions in a file with whatever parts interchange. No matter what we do, we'll end up knowing more that we do now. Chris, it sure makes sense to me. I hope you set that thread up.

Regarding Yanmar and Mitsubishi tractors, I`ve had both for approx. 20 years. I bought new US models . I have a mits.373d, 16.5 hp, that I mostly mow with and a Yanmar 336d
with a FEL etc. for larger jobs. The only thing I`ve done with either is routine maintainance and I`ve never had any repairs with either. They don`t leek and they both start and run well in cold weather. I`ve used the Yanmar for snow in temps. as low as 20 degrees below 0. I would buy either again. The yanmar has a better shift set up with the shuttle shift. wjh

My neighbor and I got on each side of the tree and simultaneously cut 3 foot pieces off at a time. When we were left with a peice about 6ft long on top of the cage we just pushed it off to the rear. If you will notice in the picture the weight was so great that it had one back tire completely pressed flat. I still can't believe it didn't blow out.

I have a F16D and I suspect that the thermostart isn't working. How should I trouble shoot it. The tractor has run fine but I can't get it to start now when it is just alittle cold out. I had a kubota before getting this baby and I know how it reacts if I don't run the glow plugs long enough and that is what it seems to be doing. I put a volt meter on the contact and it gets volts so i know it is getting juice. Do they go out sometimes? Can I just take it out and go down to napa and probably get a new one?

Hey Roger, this is your post to answer...LOL /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif. Is there diesel in the cup? As far as I know that is a yanmar specific part I'm sure Len has it.
