Parts for Big Bee Finish Mower

I have an old, abused Big Bee finish mower.
It needs an idler pulley and the main pulley.
Otherwise it mows great.

But where can I get parts for a Big Bee finish mower.

I had to get blade bolts for it a while back
and blade bolts for a King Kutter were an exact fit.
The main pulley looks the same as a KK also but I need to check that out more.
And I'm sure the idler pulley is just a generic item.

Get pulley ID and od of pulley belt cradle, and belt width. Check the surplus shop, as well as salvage places like wengers of pa.

I found a download-able manual for it on the agequipmentusa site.
It gives me the part numbers I need.
Most of the parts are generic. But a few are specific to this mower.

Right now I am searching for an idler pulley.
And not the pulley specified in the manual.
I need one 1/2 inch smaller in diameter.
The main pulley with its razor sharp edges
is so close to this idler pulley that it cuts the belt slightly.
I think something got bent along the way,
but I'm not sure I can bend it back. Gonna try.
And the other idler pulley is wore out. Lots of slop in the bearings.

If I can find a parts source I can get this thing into like new condition.

I found idler bearings at TSC that fit the idler pulleys on my 72" JD finish mower. (just changed the bearings and reused the pulley).

Since both idler pulleys are the same size/type,
I'm just gonna take the good one and move it to the other side,
then replace it with a smaller diameter pulley.
If I can find one. Shouldn't be too hard.

When I get a chance I will remove the pulley and take it to TSC.
See what they can do for me.

They have a few.. maybee you can fint a 'will fit' unit.

i used an of fthe shelf pulley to make an alternator idler / tensioning pulley on my old ford 2n.

The pulley I need turns against the back of the belt.
It has either a 1/2 or 5/8 center shaft/hole (bolt with nut).
I won't really know till I take it apart and measure it.
It's at least an inch wide. And I need a 3.5 inch diameter.
Have to take it apart and measure that too, just to be sure.
But it shouldn't be too hard to find what I need.

I believe the main pulley is splined bore
and will need an OEM replacement.
